ECUHELP KT200 does not let me down, it can read and write Edc17cp20 on Bench like a charm.
Look at the package of ECUHELP KT200 offline workstation, I already took out the main box and connect it to ECU Edc17cp20 on Bench.
Open ECUHELP KT200 software, click on “Select Driver”, then “Bench Mode, then “Volkswagen”, then “TC1796-VAG”, then “EDC17 CP20”.
If I click on “Info”, it will take me to the wiring diagram/ connection, which shows how to connect the multifunction cable to EDC17 CP20 and to KT200.
Let’s continue to click on “OK”.
Then click on “Connect”, then turn off the power and go on reading 100% ok.
Then click on “Read All”, and save the ecu file, follow the on-screen guide to turn on the power, then wait until 100% ok.
End of the reading, turn the dashboard off.
Next, the ECU info that is read out by KT200 can be used to do DPF off, DTC off, EGR OFF, etc.
Okay, let’s go on writing ext Flash and Int Flash and EEPROM with KT200.
It will take a few minutes until 100% yes.
KT200 do checksum ok too.
Finally, back to read ext Flash and Int flash and EEPROM with KT200, to confirm if the data is correct. Alright, the data is reading/ writing with no problem.
Okay, KT200 ECU Programmer did a good job in reading/writing Edc17cp20.
