I am trying to read the ECU on my Audi A4 B7 1.8 T with ECU ME7.5.5 using ECUHELP KT200 ECU Tool. However, I am unable to connect via OBD and receive the error message “ECU version not managed, use Full System.”
To resolve the issue, there are two options:
Option 1: Full system read, This requires removing the ECU and connecting it using a pinout.
Option 2: On Bench Mode read the ECU, which should work without any issues and is safe to do.
