How to read and write ECU Simos 7.1A with ECUHELP KT200. The read is performed in boot mode, you will need to open the ECU.

Look at the Simos 7.1A ECU removed from the VAG.

Open the ECU and connect to KT200 by following the wiring diagram.
Extra GND: add GND also on PIN 1 in order to work.

Open KT200 software, choose TOOLS BOOT MODE -> Siemens -Infineon C167 -> Siemens Simos 3xx/7.1/7.8/9.1.

Click on “Get ID”, follow the on-screen guide to turn on the switch button of Bench box.
Wait internet connection until 100% ok.

Click on “Read File”, it’s an auto process before 100% success.
End of read, turn the dashboard off.

For write Simos 7.1A data, open the file and click on write file.

FYI, I wanna say, I am using the ECUHELP KT200 car truck version, you say it needs to connect to the internet, as I know, ECUHELP KT200 offline version is able to work offline (full version + offline dongle).
