KTflash R/W Nissan SH705519 on Bench – DTC OFF / IMMO OFF

Today, we’re diving into how to use ECUHELP KTFlash with a J2534 interface to Bench read/write Nissan Hitachi SH705519 ECU. In this tutorial, we’ll also walk through how to disable DTCs (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) and turn off the immobilizer (IMMO OFF).

What You’ll Need:
ECUHELP KTFlash with activated protocols
J2534 pass-thru device (i.e EOBD Scanner Tool Universal J2534)
A USB cable
A Bench cable
14V 3A power supply

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Connect the KTFlash Dongle

Plug the KTFlash dongle into your PC.

Open the KTFlash software.

Click the yellow icon in the top right, load the dongle, then log in.

2. Choose the ECU Type

Click on “Programmer”.

In the list, select Hitachi → Nissan SH705 series.

If SH705519 is not listed, use the Auto Identify feature.

3. Wiring the ECU:

Open the wiring diagram from the software.

Follow the diagram precisely.

You’ll typically need:

Two 12V power cable

One GND (ground)

One CAN-H and one CAN-L connection

Once wired, double-check all connections to ensure correctness.

4.J2534 Device Setup:

Connect the J2534 OBD scanner to the ECU.

Connect the USB cable from J2534 to the PC.

Connect the ECUHELP 12V 3A power supply to J2534.

Power on the J2534—look for the green LED indicator.
You can now close the wiring diagram.

5. Read the Flash:

Click “Read Flash” in KTFlash.

The software will auto-detect the SH705519 ECU.

Flash data will be saved in the red folder—click “Cancel” once read is complete.

6. Modify the Flash File – DTC OFF/ IMMO OFF

Click “Load Flash File”.

Select the previously read SH705519 file and open it.

Go to DTC Management, for example, disable code P0507 and click “Disable”, then save.

Then go to Immobilizer Management and disable the immobilizer.

7. Write Back to ECU:

Click “Write Flash”.

Confirm your ECU model and vehicle type.

Click “Confirm” to complete the write process.

Success!
You’ve now successfully read and written to a Nissan Hitachi SH705519 ECU without opening the cover. You’ve also do the DTC OFF and turned off the immobilizer system—all using ECUHELP KTFlash and a J2534 interface.
