KTflash & J2534 Interface Read/Write ECU SID321 on Bench

In today’s tutorial, we demonstrate how to use ECUHELP KTflash with a J2534 Interface to successfully read and write the ECU SID321 on bench.

Tools & Devices Required:
KTflash dongle & software (with subscribed protocol)
One J2534 Interface
Power supply (as per ECU specification)
Bench wiring cables

Step-by-Step Procedure:
Open the KTflash software.

Click the yellow icon at the top-right corner to enter the main interface.

Plug the KTflash dongle (make sure the required protocol for SID321 is subscribed) into your computer.

After dongle detection, log into the software.

Click on “Manager”, search for SID321, and select it.

Open the wiring diagram provided in the software, connect the ECU according to the diagram.

Take out the J2534 Interface, connect it to the ECU, and power it up.
Once powered, connect the USB cable to the computer.
You can now close the wiring diagram.

Click on “Read Flash”.

The flash data will be read and saved. Once done, click “Cancel” to exit the read process.

Click “Load Flash File” and select the flash file you just read.

Then click “Write Flash” to begin the writing process. Confirm when prompted.

Result:

The data from the SID321 ECU has been successfully read and written using KTflash and the J2534 Interface.
