KTflash/KT200 Plus read write EDC16C39 on Bench, DTC Off

Today we use ECUHELP KT Flash to read and write EDC16C39 data on bench, and do DTC Off.

1. Take out the dongle with the protocol enabled (ECU/Bosch EDC16/ME9-series Module License), insert the dongle into the computer.PS: KTFlash is as the same as KT200 Plus, if you have KT200 Plus, you don’t need to buy the license.

2. Click the yellow icon in the upper right corner, then click on “the dongle” to load and log in. After logging in, we can click on “ the programmer”.

3. Search for EDC16C39 in the search bar, after searching, click it, then click the wiring diagram, we connect the cable according to the wiring diagram, there are two wiring diagrams here, we use the first one first, I have already connected the short circuit diagram here, now we start wiring, take out the Bench cable that has been connected to the J2534 box to connect it, okay, I have now connected the cable, after connecting it, remember to check if there is any wrong connection.

4. After confirming that there is no wrong connection, we take out our 3a, 14V power supply and plug it in. After plugging it in, we can power the box. Okay, now it is powered, and there will be a green indicator light. Then, take out the USB cable to connect to the J2534 box, and plug the USB cable into the computer.

5. After the connection is completed, we can turn off the wiring adapter, and then click on “Identify”, okay, now the identification is complete, then we can click “Read EXflash data”, okay, now our EXflash data has been read out, the folder has been placed in the red directory, we will cancel first, then you can click “Load EXflash data”, and then select the EXflash we have just read, be careful not to choose the wrong one.

6. Now it has been loaded successfully, then we can click Fault Code Management, I will Off P06587 here, click on “Close”, and then “Save”, now the fault code has been off, and finally we can click “Write EXflash Data” to confirm whether the ECU model and vehicle model are correct, and we click Confirm.

Okay, now EDC16C39 reading and writing data and DTC OFF have been completed with ECUHELP KTflash/KT200 Plus.
