ECUHELP KT200 ECU Programmer is capable of reading/writing BMW Bosch EDC17 C50 TC1797 on Bench.

On bench connect KT200 to ECU BMW Bosch EDC17 C50 TC1797.
By the way, what I have is KT200 full version.

Open KT200 2023 software, select BMW ->TC1797 ->EDC17 C50, then “OK”.
Click on “Info” to confirm if the cables are connected correctly by following the wiring diagram and the instruction.

Click on “Connect”, wait for internet connection, and keep the ECU power ON.
Start to reading ECU.

Bosch EDC17 C50 Reading 100% ok.
Turn the dashboard off.

With the EDC17 C50 ECU data ready by KT200 ECU Programmer, I can perform ECU services like EGR off / DTC OFF/DPF OFF, etc.

Okay, the next step is to go on writing ECU EDC17 C50 with KT200.

PS: KT200 can automatically do checksum for some ECU, but manual checksum is advised, here I recommend ecuhelpshop.com which shares nearly free Winols 4.7.

Alright, finally KT200 write EDC17 C50 Flash and eeprom succeeded.

Conclusion:
In the process, especially when ECUHELP KT200 is writing EDC17 C50, the internet connection is poor. I heard there is one extra Offline Dongle that works in offline mode (image shown below).
