In this guide, we will navigate through the process of downloading and installing Toyota Lexus ECU Flasher (an ECU Programmer to SUPPORT Toyota Lexus 2015 + OBD WRITE and SOME MODELS 2015 + OBD READ, can READ and WRITE via internal 20-pin or 26-pin connector). Follow the instructions carefully to ensure a seamless setup.

1. Getting Started: Downloading the Toyota Lexus ECU Flasher
Begin by visiting the following link: ECUHelpShop Downloads. Scroll down the page to locate and download the “Toyota Lexus ECU Flash V1.16 Software” and the accompanying “Toyota Lexus ECU Flash Driver”.

2. Installation of the Toyota Lexus ECU Flasher
After downloading, you will notice several packages ready for installation. They include the main application package, a compressed package with the wiring diagram, and the driver package. Refer to the image below to get a clearer understanding.

Unpacking and Setting up the Software:

1. Unzip the wiring diagram package followed by the driver package.

Initiate the STM32 driver depending on your computer system (XP, Win7, Win8, or Win10). Choose the appropriate version (64 for a 64-bit system and X86 for a 32-bit system) and proceed with the installation by double-clicking “Install”.

2. Connecting the Device:

Open the application and navigate to “options”, then select “port”. Note: The device COM port will appear if the driver installation is successful.

Click “open” to establish a successful device connection.

3. Utilizing the Wiring Diagram
Important: The number displayed on the Denso engine exterior might not be accurate. The reliable method is to open the board and refer to the number noted on the computer chip.

For instance, if the ECU number is 2750363410, open the wiring diagram and select the corresponding ECU number, which will also display the chip CPU number (76F0070 in this case) as illustrated in the wiring diagram.

4. Setting Up the Connection
Step 1: Utilize the two cables from the Toyota ECU Flasher to connect to the engine socket. Establish a connection with a ground wire and a live wire to power the engine ECU.
Step 2:Locate the JTAG interface and establish a connection with the soldering plate.

Step 3:Identify a bot point from the rear as depicted below, and insert it into one of the BOT pins on the Toyota ECU Flasher.

Tips:

The Boot pin should always be directed towards the engine’s interior, with the opposite side facing outwards.

5. Operating the Application
Once the setup is complete, launch the application and select the matching CPU model, like the 76F0070 series, as an example.

The application offers various options including read, write, and checksum functionalities.

To begin, click “read” to access data. Ensure the hardware ID and the Checksum are verified to guarantee data integrity.

Step 4: After the data reading is completed, click “Save” to secure the data successfully.

Step 5: To write the date, click on the “Open” button, select the appropriate data, and then click “Write”.

Conclusion
Toyota Denso engine ECU occasionally encounters writing failures due to incorrect numbering during data modification. Fortunately, the Toyota ECU Flasher can rectify this flaw effectively, permitting successful data writing provided the CPU model matches.

Ensure to follow these guidelines meticulously to facilitate a smooth and successful setup of the Toyota Lexus ECU Flasher. For further assistance, feel free to explore our website or contact our expert team.
