Today, we’re going to demonstrate how to read and write the Infineon TC1767 chip boot mode using the ECUHELP KTprog Chip Programmer. This guide covers the entire process—from setup to successful data transfer.

Step-by-Step Guide:
1. Hardware Connection
Start by connecting the KTprog hardware to the USB cable, and then plug the USB into the computer.

2. Open the Software
Open the KTprog software in the computer. In the chip selection menu, navigate to: Infineon → DC17 Series → TC1767 DFlash

3. Wiring the ECU
Click on the “Wiring Diagram” button at the top right of the software. Follow the diagram carefully to connect the pins correctly.
Here’s a look at the ECU board after proper wiring is complete:

4. Power Up the KTprog
With the ECU connected to KTprog, use the ECUHELP power cable to supply power to the KTprog box.
Once powered, you can close the wiring diagram window in the software.

5. Read and Write Infineon TC1767

Click “Read” to begin extracting data from the TC1767 chip.
Once the read is complete, you’ll see the data displayed.

Now, click “Write” to flash the desired data back into the chip.
Wait until the process is fully completed.
