ECUHELP KT200II ECU Programmer has been successfully tested to read and write VW Simos9.1 ECUs using boot mode.

ECU Model Overview
Before starting, take a close look at the Simos9.1 ECU (see image below).

Required Tools:
To perform this operation, you will need the following:
KT200II Multifunction Cable
BDM Frame

Connect the multifunction cable as follows.

KT200II reads and writes using the following driver:
→ TOOLS BOOT MODE
→ SIEMENS-INFINEON C167
→ Siemens 7.1/7.8/9.1 29F400BB/29F800BB CRIPT

Attention:
If the ECU doesn’t enter boot mode, proceed as follows:
→ Switch off the ECU and remove the gray wire.
→ Connect directly to ground the boot pin with a needle.
→ Switch on the ECU.
→ Remove the ground.
→ Launch the driver and click the read / write buttons.

By following these steps and using the KT200II’s boot mode function, you can successfully program VW Simos9.1 ECUs.
