Question:use ECUHELP KT200 to read/write ECU Mercedes Benz EDC16CP31, it ask for a bench box but bench box is connected.
I’m doing this ecu at least one per week.
Possible reason and solution:
No connection with bench box. Try a test. Without cables. In bench box there is a option to test the bench box, If that works try again. Click bench, left colom the first one. Showed bench box testing in the middle column. need be full. And ended with test okay. The device make some clicks sound.
Please refer to the bench box test procedure of ECUHELP KT200II:
Connect KT200II ECU programmer, Bench Box and computer
Open KT200II 2024 software
Click “Select Driver”
Then select BENCH MODE>> TOOLS BENCH MODE>> Test for BENCH BOXES>> TEST BENCH BOX V2
This driver is useful for testing the Bench Box V.2
During the test:
-The relays will be triggered at different speeds
-The red LED will flash several times
Before launching the driver, connect the Bench Box V.2 to the tool and power it through the round jack of the bench box itself or from the round jack of the KT200II tool.
DO NOT connect any control unit during the test.
Click ‘OK’, and then click on “Start Test”.
It will pop up “Connect Bench box without ECU and power it”, click “Yes”.
Wait until you can see “ Test END”, then click “yes”.
Done.
Finally, ECUHELP KT200 makes the click sound and it says at the end TEST END.
